I want a computer that is able to run heavy games on their full settings, the way they are meant to be played.
Games like:
Left 4 Dead
World of Warcraft
and upcoming games like StarCraft II.

he'll get bored once he's completed it. i've been the same 18 hours straight playing medal of honor online. the morning i woke up with my face stuck to the keyboard was the warning i should stop. but then i discovered manhunt and the cycle continued. his playing games is a way to escape from the day to day life of working, he's not bored with you he just needs to unwind and space out inside his own head. he'll come back down to earth soon enough.

That is quite bad. It's the very reason I didn't buy WoW. I'm a keen gamer, but I've got my hands full with all the single player games out there, the ones that actually END, without embarking on an ever-growing, ever-evolving MMORPG which seems almost a complete substitute for real life (soon your PC will be preparing meals for you, but only if you buy them in WoW! and you'll get bad meals if you're a low level, so there's an incentive to level up to get better grub!)
I was told by everyone that owned it that 'it destroys your life, taking away all your free time and gradually eroding the time you shouldn't have free'. They said this with a grin as though it was a good thing and turned back to the PC screen.
I think you should dress up as a dark elf and do a sexy dance to entice him away from the PC... then sabotage it! Say it was a Level 13 destruction curse of doom and he can only counter it by spending the next 100 years in the real world. Or something.
I use to be a game addict, I would be on the computer until 1am every morning or sometimes longer. My wife would comment on it but to be honest it went in one ear and straight out the other, that was until I heard strange noises coming from upstairs, I went to investigate and found my wife impaled on the biggest "toy" I had ever seen. She said she no longer wanted sex with me, she said I had my toy and now she hers. Guess what, I haven't played on the computer for 3 years, but the sex is great.

My bf didn't look after me at all... he lost his friend...lost his job ... need I say more.
I kinda forced him not to play for a week (hehe taking the cable is the best thing you can do for that :p ) and we talked about this. He admitted his behavior was problematic and started to change.
Now almost 4 months later he still plays for like 15 -20 hrs a week but I can understand that. He plays in a high-end raiding guild and they have raiding days (4 in this guild) where he has to be online for like 4 hours. I don't mind ... it's his hobby and I also put that many hours in my hobby's.
what I'm trying to say is ... try to let him 'see' what's is going on. Try to let him know it can't go on any more if he don't change.

But, on youtube there is a web series of MK that is making it all more realistic, abandoning the storyline of the original.

I would class myself as a hardcore resident evil fan. However I do like the movies as well as the games. I don't understand why people get annoyed by the films as they are good in there own right. Some people (mainly 12 year olds, or people with the mentality of 12 year olds) just like to cause arguments and annoy others.
Not all hardcore gamers are like this. But the ones that are like to be heard.
Obviously because those films are made mainly for the fans of those games, if a film is made much alike the game, clearly its the hardcore fans who are the target audience, Also if a movie was to be made of a game series, and it wasn't similar, surely that wouldn't make it a movie of that game, Also sometimes a follow up movie of a game can give more insight into the game itself, for say it could show unexplained parts of the game or add new insight to certain characters back story or other parts that could not or had not been included in the game which would also appeal to those fans. Final Fantasy Advent Children is a good example of this, based on final fantasy VII this movie is different to the game yet shows parts of the game and its original story however, having not played final fantasy VII many people would struggle to follow many parts of the story. Also as i mentioned before this movie gives more insights into the characters and story that had not been interpreted into the original game.

Alright, so i have like 12.1 GB of games on my xbox 360 and i need to delete some to have more space, if i delete a game off of it, does it delete my gamer score for that game? If you have chosen a team game like Counter Strike, you should meet with your team everyday and practice, work on strategies and such. It is also recommended you do research for strategies on the internet and is a good idea to join several popular forums having to do with your game.
Step4
After you have practiced for a minimum of several months on your strict training schedule, it is time to test the waters. You should try to find a local competition, but if they are none in your area you can just go ahead and signup for the preliminaries for the Championship Gaming Series and/or the World Cyber Games closest to your area. This can be done on their websites
Step5
They will get back in touch with you and provide you with the necessary information and in some cases documents you may have to fill out and return.
Step6
Time to compete. Please remember it is only game so don't take it too personal if you lose. There will ALWAYS be more chances in the future. You should also remember good gamer etiquette if you go to a competition especially if you are on camera. It is fine to talk a little trash, but you should not swear on camera because a large percentage of the audience are kids and this is also frowned upon by producers and will most likely cut down your camera time.

Now if you are trying to get a contract you just keep trying until you get into the nationals for the Championship Gaming Series. They will have a combine to display your skills and you must impress one of the General Managers there enough for them to draft you. You should get to know each of them and keep coming every year until you get drafted. I have a question about my xbox live Gamer Tag?
Hey. I just bought 800 Microsoft Points from the Xbox website to change my gamertag. I cant go on my xbox directly to change it because I dont have it with me right now, so I was wondering if I could change it from the xbox website. Problem is, I cant find any way to change it from there. Who is the best World of Warcraft gamer?thats a matter of opinion. theres a guy out there who simultaniously plays up to 36 characters at once and from what i can tell they are all well geared. he raids 25 mans by himself with his team. but how is he as an actual person, i can not say as i have never dealt with him. i think a good player is someone who not only has good characters, but is a good person playing them. like, someone who is willing to help low level players, and isnt a jerk in trade channel and that sort of thing. cause i know plenty of people on my server who are AMAZING at raids and pvp and all that crap but they are RUDE as hell if anyone asks even the most basic questions. like, you see some poor level 5 in trade channel asking "whats the easiest way to get from here to there?" and the dude jumps all over them with "hahaha noob, go learn to play"....and its like, dude, you sucked once too so shut the hell up, you know?

To make a long story short my son had an xbox, he's gone now (not dead), and he left me his xbox 360 but he has a child account. I want to keep his profile (with all the gamerscore and friends) but create a new xbox live account (an adult one). Is this possible? So I would recommend you bump it up to about 800W or over, because your 600W would simply not cut the mustard! And to be sure to choose ones that have an efficiency level of 80 PLUS, that means it can convert 80% of its electricity for your computer.

I have two gamer tags, one is online and the other isn't. I wanted to move all my saves from the one that isn't online to the one that is. Not that it makes much of a diffence. I need help on making my achivements belong to my profile. My cousin deleted my profile but not my achivements.I made a new profile but I cant put my achivements on that profile.Can any one tell me how to put my achievements on my new gamer profile.Help on xbox gamer profile achievements?You made an entirely new profile?
Your achievements wills till be attached to your old profile. Go into your xbox dashboard and choose the option for "recover gamertag".

Why would you try to transfer it to a new account? Its quite simple just sign up for Xbox-live silver or if you already paid for gold then go to Recover Gamer Profile/Tag. WARNING this will delete all your game saves as recovering your profile will recover everything except for your game saves. If the recovering does not work then you should contact Xbox-Live support. All depends on what he's looking for - Normally I'd say you're a diamond in the rough; most 'gamer guys' are hopeful to find a woman that will share in a game or two with them.
But, sometimes guys just like to keep gaming between them and their friends - My suggestion would be to ask him about it; or read into it a little and see how he feels about it.Is being a gamer going to put him off me?Well it's different for all guys but most gamer guys like gamer girls. Guys like girls who are one of the gang. Don't get seriously competitive with him - that might put him off - just be nicely competitive. I see you're a Guitar Hero fan- I think that's a bonus.

Honestly think he be fine wouldnt worry about it, only a console..aslong as it doesnt stop u from going out and spending time together outside the house.Is being a gamer going to put him off me?As long as you spend time with him and don't zone him out when you're playing, (ie prioritizing the game over him) I don't see it as a problem.
