-Quadcore

-4GB memory

-Vista 64bit preinstalled

-NVIDIA Geforce 9600GT

-beautiful design

Cons

-Still pretty heavy (7ish pounds for a "lightweight" laptop)

-Running Quadcore processor and having a dedicated video card = uncomfortably hot, loud fan noise



Macbook Pro (Looking at the 17" model)

Pros

-8 hours battery life

-Not as heavy (6.6 pounds)

-Slim, aluminum design

-Has both NVIDIA Geforce 9400 and 9600; Macbook Pro can switch between the two. 9400 for keeping good battery life, 9600 for gaming purposes

Cons

-Dual Core

-2GB memory (buying RAM from Apple = foolishly expensive)

-Just as expensive as Falcon Northwest

-You need to buy Windows Vista/XP for gaming



On a final note, Gaming Desktops are much cheaper than Gaming laptops, but if you truly need mobile gaming needs, then I suggest buying a Desktop-replacement laptop. A Mac is always more expensive for equivalent hardware. All games come in Windows format, some don't come for Mac.
