A question about Xbox live accounts and gamer profiles?

To make a long story short my son had an xbox, he's gone now (not dead), and he left me his xbox 360 but he has a child account. I want to keep his profile (with all the gamerscore and friends) but create a new xbox live account (an adult one). Is this possible? Or could I call xbox support give them some verification and have them change the date of birth on the account?A question about Xbox live accounts and gamer profiles? When you go to the profile part on the Xbox dashboard, you should see the existing profiles. If you go all the way to the right it will say create new profile. Hope that helps!A question about Xbox live accounts and gamer profiles? You should be able to go to system settings%26gt;family settings to change his account into an adult one. If not then buy a XBL subscription card and make a new account. It should default to adult.A question about Xbox live accounts and gamer profiles? No you can't. The profile is the account. You can't change the age even if you mess with the age on his email account and you cannot promote it to an adult account unless he (or at least the age on the account) has turned 18. If not, you'll need to either stick with his underage account or make an adult account, but you won't be able to move the saves and achievements over. You'd also need to buy another Gold subscription for that account if you want the Gold features.
