If you're reported, they'll force you to change it if they deem that it's offensive.



They don't ban you for gamertags, they just make you change it... unless you keep making offensive gamertags, because after a few forced changes they just permanently ban you.

To be honest, I don't think you will get banned for your name. When I got my gamertag, I was on the phone with xbox (I had a gamertag before I had xbox live, but for some reason I forgot my email and password, so I had to make a new one) and he told me that I might be contacted within a couple of days to change my gamertag because it had "hell" in it, even though it was actually my name (Mishelle), but I never got contacted and this has been almost a year later!Will I get banned for having DAMN in my xbox live gamer tag?More than likely, you will not get ban.
