i love pcs and im not 100% sure but i think programing and disgning video games is the best for me do u think it is i am good in mental math but im lazy and hate doing alot of things other than working with pcs if u think its my type can u tell me which courses should i take?Ive been a serious gamer since i wsa 6 do u think i should enter the feild of programming and designing games?Being a gamer has zip-all to do with being a programmer/developer; there are no skills that transfer between the two.
Gamer: solve puzzles, have quick reflexes to mash buttons
Developer: use logic to order a series of programming commands to achieve a desired result
Okay, solving puzzles is a commonality, but other than that don't kid yourself that being a long-time gamer means you'd make a good developer.
When it gets right down to it a developer doesn't care if it's a game, a database or something else - code is code.
