Please tell me in detail about how to become a professional gamer?

hey friends,

I love gaming . It takes about a month (sometimes even less)for me to finish a game . Till now I have finished many games (full version). PLZ tell me that how can I become a professional gamer and also how much mony can be earned through gaming....???Please tell me in detail about how to become a professional gamer?Well, first off you'll have to work on your completion times. A month is a little long to finish a game. For example I finished Marvel Ultimate Alliance in 23 hours 18 minutes, and I felt that that was too long. That was on the 'normal' setting.

FPS games are a good place to start if you want to make money playing games by competing. There are quite a few professional cyberathletes out there that are making nearly $100,000.00 a year. They do it by competing, and winning, events and through sponsorships by various game and hardware companies such as Nvidia, ATI, Logitec and the like. Try looking up the PGL (Professional Gamers League) website and get in touch with some of the cyberathletes there. I'm sure they would be glad to help you get started. The website is http://thepgl.org/

Here are some other websites to help you out http://www.mlgpro.com/

Also, here is an article by Microsoft on the subject http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using鈥?/a>

Here is a quote from that article for all the naysayers - this is from Microsoft:

"For those of you in the "reality police" who are about to blow your whistles on the scenario presented above, you may be surprised to learn that there are currently full-time, professional computer game players鈥攖he most successful of whom make six figures annually by playing in competitive gaming tournaments. Thinking of professional gaming as a sport may seem like a stretch, but those individuals who are excelling in it devote the same type of skill, passion, and commitment that a real-world athlete does."

Another way to make money playing games is by getting a job at a local games store. The owners and managers actually like their employees to play the games, when they're not too busy waiting on customers, so that they are familiar with all the different games and consoles so that they are better able to help the customer find exactly the right game for them.

Lastly, don't give up on your dream of becoming a professional gamer. And don't let the naysayers tell you to get a 'real' job. If they don't think it is a real job then let them ride the tour bus 48 hours straight to get from one competition to the next. Remember there was once a game played in schoolyards back in the 1800's, then later in colleges for a phys. ed credit. It was at first just for fun but later became something much more. Today we call that game Football and it is a multi billion dollar industry whose 'professional gamers' ( people who get paid to play a game ) earn millions of dollars a year. The gaming industry is approaching that same kind money making level and it won't be too long before we're all watching the 'Video Game Superbowl' on tv.Please tell me in detail about how to become a professional gamer?
