Does the creative x-fi extreme gamer sound card work ok with an Asus pk5 premium wi fi motherboard?

I am thinking of buying this soundcard but ive read it got a lot of issues with some chipsets,i think nvidia chipsets,i am running vista 32bit,anyone using this card with the same motherboard?Does the creative x-fi extreme gamer sound card work ok with an Asus pk5 premium wi fi motherboard?hi tony

yes,the creative x-fi extreme gamer sound card uses the standard 32bit pci card slot and the asus pk5 has 3 pci slots,however you may experience problems if you use the two pci-express x16 slots that this motherboard supports

for example some of the high end graphic cards like the 8800gtx and HD3850 are quite large and can use part of the neighbouring pci slot,however the best slot to use is the end slot near the usb headers
