What laptop would you recommend to a gamer/student?

Well, I play games and at the same time, I do school works

so if you were to recommend me a brand of laptop, what would it be?

So basically im considering either sony vaio (white) or macbook since i like white but i still dont know their specs

Im prioritizing battery life, speed, price, and of course whiteness :)

Least for me would be graphics and portabilityWhat laptop would you recommend to a gamer/student?Well if it has to be white then I think the best graphics you can get is in Mac. however If you'd like some nice system in a good price and can get get a laptop external sticker white in color then I would like you to check Dell Studio XPS 13.

Hi

Gamers use Windows operating system.I think mac doesnt run all games. Also how much money do you want to spend ?

Vaio and HP have good laptops.Alienware is a company that makes gaming laptops and desktop PCs.

good luckWhat laptop would you recommend to a gamer/student?Don't get the Sony Vaio, as they fail to deliver what your other choice(the macbook) can. So, I'd say, go for the Mac. If you're not bent on the whiteness, then I'd probably strongly consider the Dell Studio 15 Laptops.
You are not going to be playing alot of games on those laptops. You need a good graphics card to play games, and neither of those laptops have even decent graphics. I suggest the new unibody macbook if you want to play games. What laptop would you recommend to a gamer/student?whatever you do dont buy a dell. get an hp, gateway, or sonyWhat laptop would you recommend to a gamer/student?
HP Pavilian

any mac book
you want to look for specs not brand names right now. decide what you want the system to do then go about who has better quality and the cheapest price. for a student, and if you have the money, get a quad core CPU and at least 4gig of RAM with built in wireless N adapter. I would also recommend a decent size hard drive, an external hard drive and a flash drive.

also get your laptop for school and find games that it will play. laptop GPU's are not upgradeable so what runs games well now will be obsolete in a couple of years...
I prefer Dell. I know that if it break it will be fixed, and quickly at that. I own a Dell XPS M1730. It will run ANY game out right now and most of them at the highest quality possible. I use it for video editing. Its a little pricey BUT they have several XPS models to choose from.
