What's the difference between hardcore & casual gamer?

A casual gamer is someone who plays a couple hours a week and usually plays platform and party types of games. Something they can pick up, play for 30 minutes, and not really invest much time or effort into it while still having fun. A casual gamer doesn't want to spend much money on games, but still likes fun games they can play with friends.

A hardcore gamer plays more demanding games- usually first person shooters and games with more in depth story lines. They expect more from their games and pay a lot more than the average casual gamer is willing to. They care about graphics, multiplayer, and the overall quality of the game. They will put in several hours a day playing and invest a larger amount of money into their systems along with a good TV to play it on, sound, and accessories that will make their gaming time more enjoyable. What's the difference between hardcore %26amp; casual gamer?Casual gamer is your average joy that mite play a game a couple of hours a week or day.
