How do you become a gamer?

Okay, so a little while ago i went to a freinds house and he was playing COD, but then we went upstairs and hung out. i was looking at the game while he was playing and i think it would be alot of fun to become a gamer. is their any free games i can play to do this? Well if you want to become a hardcore gamer the best choice is the Xbox 360 but i'm a hardcore gamer and I use the PS3 (don't really like Xbox but again not saying it's bad.) If you're just going to be a casual gamer go for Wii (which doesn't have as many good games as PS3 and Xbox.) As for PC you can play online games there's thousands of Online games or you can use torrents and download COD for free. Runescape (despite many people considering it lame and boring) can be a good place to start PC gaming as for console gaming go for something basic anyone can play like COD or any racing game.How do you become a gamer?
You play games. I don't see what's so difficult about that.



If you want to be cheap, play on the computer. But even then, many free games are restricted, with features unlocked for subscribers. Even then, if you have to download games, it takes up space on your computer, and if you want to run newer games you might need a newer computer.

Otherwise, unless you're gonna pirate, console and handheld gaming is not free.



Gaming is not a cheap hobby unless you're willing to do things a little illegally. Xbox 360 is amazing but you should start with PC then work your way up :)
