i want to buy it for my dad, but he finds complicated games too hard. would it be playable for someone who isn't used to games ? I am the type of person that just jams buttons and just hopes that it is some super awesome move. However, I cannot play with my husband since he knows all of the moves and just kicks my butt. It all depends on what character you play as and what level you take the game to.



For example if you just want to play with friends, its very fun and you can catch on very quickly however if you attempt certain levels and challanges you may find the game a little harder.

One button jumps, one button punches, one button does special moves (different moves are done by adding a direction to it, like Up+B and Down+B will do different moves), one button blocks, and a stick to move. Easy to pick up, hard to master.
Yes, it's an easily accessible game and amazingly fun to play. It won't take long before your dad's a pro at Brawl.
